Bay 02 — Overview

Six reasons operations teams choose Eaveston

Site-level observation

We visit the facility in person. Remote advisory based on documents alone misses the patterns that are visible only on the floor.

Written, not verbal

Every engagement produces a document the client keeps. Verbal advice is useful in the moment; a written reference is useful for the next two years.

Klang Valley proximity

Based at Port Klang, we can reach most Selangor sites without the travel cost or lead time that comes with out-of-state advisory practices.

Published fees in RM

Engagement prices are listed clearly in Ringgit Malaysia. There is no day-rate ambiguity, no scope creep by default, and no invoice surprises.

Non-disruptive to existing partners

Our work does not require you to change forwarders, carriers, or WMS vendors. We work with what you have and advise on how it is used.

Built around the operations lead

Our advisory treats your operations lead as the subject-matter expert. We bring structure; they bring knowledge of the specific business. The output reflects both.

BENEFIT / 01

Operational knowledge specific to Malaysian logistics

Generic logistics frameworks are often written for large multinational operations. The realities of Malaysian SME distribution — the rhythms of Selangor industrial estates, the cadence around public holidays, the documentation conventions used in the Port Klang corridor — require knowledge that comes from working in this context, not from applying an imported model to it.

Our team has hands-on experience across warehouse and distribution operations in Selangor. When we observe a yard or write a cadence reference, that context is present in the work.

Familiarity with Klang Valley industrial park layouts and typical inbound/outbound patterns

Understanding of the documentation conventions used across Malaysian distribution operations

Advisory calibrated to Malaysian SME operating realities, not to global enterprise benchmarks

BENEFIT / 02

A clear, repeatable engagement process

Each Eaveston engagement follows a defined structure: scope agreement, site or remote observation, written output, and a follow-up session where questions can be addressed. You know what to expect before we begin.

This structure is not bureaucratic for its own sake. It exists so that the engagement delivers a usable written output within a predictable timeframe — not a series of open-ended meetings with no tangible result.

Scope defined and agreed before the engagement begins — no open-ended commitments

Written deliverable produced for every engagement — not verbal feedback alone

Predictable timeline agreed at the outset, with communication if anything changes

BENEFIT / 03

Accessible pricing for businesses that are not yet large

The Single-Site Observation Note starts at RM 540. The Outbound Cadence Workshop is RM 2,200 for a three-week engagement. The six-month Advisory Retainer is RM 4,300 per month. These figures are published and do not change depending on who enquires.

Businesses at the stage where they are managing logistics without a dedicated operations manager — but have outgrown informal arrangements — are the ones these engagements are priced for.

Published prices in RM — no quote required to understand the cost

Three engagement sizes allow businesses to start small before committing to a longer retainer

Travel within Selangor and the Klang Valley included — no day-rate additions for local visits

Bay 04 — What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive aspects of how we work

USP-01

Observation notes as a standalone product

Most advisory firms use site visits only as a diagnostic step toward a larger engagement. We offer the observation note as a complete product. A company that wants an outside perspective without committing to a longer programme can get one for RM 540.

USP-02

Cadence as an explicit focus

The Outbound Cadence Workshop addresses a specific problem that many Malaysian SMEs encounter: outbound processes that work reasonably well most of the time but lose consistency under volume pressure. Naming and documenting the cadence is something most businesses have not done.

USP-03

Retainer designed for an internal operations director

The Advisory Retainer is structured to work alongside an existing operations lead — not to replace one. The monthly reviews, fortnightly calls, and quarterly workshops are set up so that an operations director gains an external advisory layer without losing ownership of the day-to-day.

USP-04

Plain-language documentation

Our written outputs are in plain English, structured for operational use rather than for presentation to a board. The target reader is the person managing the warehouse, not the managing director's executive assistant formatting a slide deck from our notes.
